Cable Hat

Recently finished this Cabled Hat from Stitch'n'Bitch Nation. Took about 4 hours to complete, done in Cascade brand wool. Intended to be worn while tromping around the UW campus during chillier weather. Matching gloves coming soon!

Classic Car Show

S.E.X. (stash enhancement expidition) went well yesterday. Found a little place in Burien called "yarn stash" It's a bit steril for being a yarn store, but as long as it supplies what I demand, it's all good.

After the S.E.X. I went to a classic car show with my boyfriend, the Adam. This car is the only thing in life I love more than him.

Afterwards, we went to a friends house to watch the fight. Cage fighting. Interesting, but not really my thing. Managed to obtain some yarn there too. Laura gave up knitting, and hates clutter, so now her yarn is cluttering up my room. Which I am ok with.

The Danger of Chix with Stix

I am a knitaholic. Or a yarnoholic. Kind of a needlecraftaholic in general. And yes, my stash is bigger than yours.

I have been knitting on and off since I was nine, and crocheting since I was four. My slight interest in the crafts became and obsession when I first began high school and joined the Knitting Knerds. In the past four years, my interest has become and obsession, and you will rarely see me leaving the house without one of my main WIPs poking out of my purse.

I decided to make this blog for the same reason as many, to share my love for the craft as well as show off my beloved finsihed projects.
